UK’s Net Zero Review: Carbon Markets and Corporate Climate Action
À propos du webinar
The independent UK Net Zero Review, led by The Rt Hon Chris Skidmore, MP, was released in January 2023. This review included a close look at the rapidly growing and evolving voluntary carbon markets (VCM) and made some recommendations to the UK government to set standards that will help businesses make smarter investment decisions that lead to credible emissions reductions. On 27th February, we will bring together Skidmore, MP and representatives from the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI), KPMG and Oliver Wyman to discuss the current state of play of carbon markets and corporate climate action, particularly in the UK. We will do a deeper dive on the Net Zero Review, look at the key recommendations for improving integrity and transparency in carbon markets, and hear directly from voluntary standards setters and corporate leaders on selecting credible climate action projects to invest in today.
